Our Story
The BCP Hub was founded by Ilana Lawrence, a local paediatric nurse who has spent years supporting families across Newcastle and the Hunter. Through her work, Illlana saw a consistent pattern- families feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, and unsure where to turn for the right support.
She imagined a place that could change that. A place where care wasn’t fragmented, but connected. Where practitioners worked together, not in silos. And where families felt seen, supported, and empowered every step of the way. That vision became the BCP Hub: a community-led, family-centred space designed to fill the gaps in our local health system and bring clarity to care.
What we do

The BCP Hub offers a wide range of allied health and community support services under one roof. Each practitioner within the Hub shares a commitment to inclusive, people-first care- and works closely with others to ensure families receive the right support, at the right time.
From paediatric specialists and therapists to family wellbeing services and community educators, we’re proud to provide care that’s accessible, connected, and always grounded in genuine relationships.
